Kısaca: 1968 Afrika Uluslar Kupası, CAF'ın düzenlendiği 6. Afrika Uluslar Kupası'ydı ve Etiyopya'da düzenlendi. 1965'teki statüden farklı olarak finallerde mücadele edecek takım sayısı sekize çıkartıldı ve her grupta dörder takım mücadele etmeye başladı.
