Feminist felsefe, feminist perspektiften yapılan felsefeyi ifade eder. Feminist felsefe, feminist hareketlerin davasına destek olmak üzere felsefe yöntemlerini kullanma girişimi ile birlikte, geleneksel felsefi düşünceleri feminist bir çerçevede eleştirme ya da yeniden değerlendirme girişimini içerir.

Tek bir feminist felsefe okulu yoktur: feminist filozoflar, filozof olarak, hem analitik felsefe hem de kıta felsefesi geleneklerinde yer alırlar ve bu gelenekler çerçevesinde de felsefi konulara yönelik çok sayıda farklı bakış açılarına sahiplerdir; feminist olarak ise, feminizmin çok sayıdaki farklı türlerine mensupturlar.

Feminizm birçok geleneksel felsefe problemine yeni bir bakış açısı sağlamıştır. Feminist bilgi felsefecileri, sözkonusu geleneksel felsefi düşüncelerin erkeklerin perspektif ve varsayımlarına dayandığını ve kadınların bakış açısını yok saydığını ileri sürerek; rasyonalite ve bilgiye nasıl ulaştığımız konularındaki geleneksel düşüncelere meydan okumuştur. Birçok feminist; saldırgan tartışmacı tarzının erkek odaklı ve ataerkil karakterde olduğunu savunarak geleneksel felsefeyi eleştirmiştir (örn., Janice Moulton).
