Amitai Etzioni, (d. 4 Ocak 1929, Köln, Almanya) Almanya ve ABD vatandaşı yahudi asıllı sosyolog. Yaşamı Amitai Etzioni, Almanya'da Nasyonel Sosyalist siyasi hareketinin yükselişi sırasında 4 yaşında(1933) iken bu siyasi gelişme nedeniyle ailesinden ayrılmış ve 1947'ye kadar ayrı kalmıştır. Bu sürede Atina'da 1 yıl kalan Etzioni, Filistin'e gitmiş ve bir çiftlikte kalmış, yatılı okula gitmiştir.
